Project Based Learning

Project-based learning (PBL) is a framework for teaching and learning where students acquire subject-matter knowledge and skills in order to respond to a driving question that is based on a real-world issue, problem, challenge, or concern. A variety of skill sets, including critical thinking, communication, and creativity, are used in project-based learning, which is done in groups and in collaboration with others.

PBL incorporates all three of these elements: student choice, student voice, and inquiry. A community partner and a completed project that is viewable are required for a PBL to be regarded as realistic. Ongoing feedback, revision, and reflection are the three main pillars of project-based learning. Students are constantly working to apply their newly acquired skills in order to complete their projects according to the criteria.
